AFFF Foam Fire Extinguishers provide a fast, powerful means of controlling flammable liquids. The AFFF foam forms a sealant over the surface to prevent re-ignition. Ideal for multi-risk uses and also suitable against Class ‘A’ hazards such as wood, cloth, papers, and other materials that leave a carbon ash.
AFFF is Aqueous Film Forming Foam concentrate, produces thin, yet strong film on the surface of hydrocarbon fuels thereafter sealing the fuel surface and preventing fuel vapors release. Due to mixture of Pure Fluorocarbon surfactant with water & the spreading characteristic of the foam is such that a positive, fast spreading coverage action takes over the fuel surface, resulting fast extinguishment. The water & top layered base imparts good shelf life of the concentrate free from settling ingredients and bad odor with extinguishing of fire very easily.
